Why schedule an appointment for your middle schooler with Piedmont Pediatrics?

The well-child visit is a comprehensive assessment of your child’s overall health and well-being. Immunizations are an integral part of these yearly check-ups, as they provide crucial protection against dangerous and possibly life-threatening diseases.

At Piedmont Pediatrics, we believe that the middle school age well-child visit is especially important in that it allows our providers to offer not only the school required TDAP Vaccine but the Meningitis and HPV vaccines as well. This is a time in a child’s life of rapidly changing growth and development. The well-child visit allows our providers to evaluate your child's complete health, encompassing physical, emotional, psychological, and educational realms. Our providers also address parental concerns about behavior, anxiety and stress as your child begins middle school. Therefore, Piedmont Pediatrics strongly encourages middle school parents to schedule their child’s well-check appointment today.
